1. Jesus gives all an opportunity to become God’s children (John 1:12)

2. One must be born again (John 3:3)

3. Sinners rise to new life after baptism (Romans 6:3-4)

4. If anyone is in Christ he is a new person (2 Corinthians 5:17, see Galatians 3:27)

5. God is our Father if we are separated spiritually from the world (2 Corinthians 6:18)

6. If one is a Christian, the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are His children (Romans 8:16)

7. God’s children are heirs (Romans 8:17)

8. Christians are to imitate their Father as beloved children (Ephesians 5:1)

9. We must be obedient children (1 Peter 1:14)

10. Since Christians are God’s children we will one day see Him as He truly is (1 John 3:2)
