1. Any “Christian” religious organization having any difference to that of the church of the New Testament is not Jesus’ church. (Matthew 16:18).
2. Men and women have created denominations, not Jesus. Therefore denominationalism is not a valid Bible practice. Therefore, it is wrong to be a member of a denomination! (Matthew 15:8-9, 2 Timothy 4:2).
3. It takes incorrect doctrine to make a denomination. (Galatians 1:6-9, 2 Timothy 3:16).
4. Jesus’ local churches are named after Him, “church of Christ,” not a denominational name. (Romans 16:16, 1 Corinthians 12:27).
5. Jesus is head of the church. There are no man-made organizations that head up His church. Man-made denominations have conventions, synods, headquarters, diocese, and such. There are no such things in the Bible. (Ephesians 1:22-23).
6. No man or woman is head of the New Testament church. The Pope is not head of anything except a man-made organization. (2 Timothy 4:1-4).
7. “Church members” wear the name “Christian,” “disciple,” or “Saint.” (Acts 20:7, Romans 1:7, Acts 11:26).
8. Denominations hold a dim view of Bible authority. (1 Peter 4:11, 2 Timothy 4:2).
9. Good people are led away into denominationalism. Souls are in jeopardy. (Matthew 7:15-20, 15:14).
10. We shall all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. We must get this right. (2 Corinthians 5:10).
