1. Just because you believe you’re right with God doesn’t make it so. (Matthew 7:21-27, Jeremiah 17:9).
2. You can lose your soul, even after salvation. God says so. (Hebrews 6:4-6, 2 Peter 2:20-22, James 5:19-20).

7. While salvation is available to every person, it is conditional. One must believe, repent, confess and be baptized for salvation. God says so. Jesus said so. The Holy Spirit said so. (2 Peter 1:8, 10 [what if one doesn’t do these things?], Titus 2:11, Mark 16:16, Ephesians 2:8 [Ephesians 5:26]).
8. Each one of us needs God’s grace and knowledge for salvation (John 6:45, Genesis 6:8 [Hebrews 11:7], 2 Corinthians 6:1).

10. To go to heaven one must continue in a state of grace (Acts 13:43, 1 Peter 1:2, 13-16).
