15 Things to Know about Death from the Bible

1. Death is a separation of soul from the body (John 8:24)

2. The body returns to dust but the soul/spirit returns to its Creator (Ecclesiastes 12:7)

3. God promised death if Adam disobeyed (Genesis 2:16-17)

5. Through Adam’s disobedience sin and death came into the world (Romans 5:12)

6. Even though death came through Adam’s sin no child is born inheriting the sins of the father (Ezekiel 18:20)

7. Death is appointed for every individual (Hebrews 9:27)
