He is the I AM – “But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.” The I AM WHO I AM means “I exist and have always existed.” When Jesus was on the earth, He said this in John 8:58, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I AM!” Jesus is Deity, God.

One – “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!” There is only one God, just as scripture states, but there are three persons in God. It’s like a family unit of a mom, dad, and 3 children. They are one family but with five persons. It’s the same with GOD, one GOD but with three persons: God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. John 1:1-34 explains that Jesus is God, Deity. Colossians 1:15-23 gives the same information. Paul says, “But there is one thing I want you to know: The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” 1 Corinthians 11:3.

Evidence – John the Baptist, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, testified Jesus is Deity. He raised the dead. His miracles (He did things only God could do), and His resurrection proves He is God, Deity. He fulfilled every Old Testament concerning the Messiah. He is Lord, Master, and the Christ. He holds everything together, Colossians 1:17. Since He is God, His word is binding. His commands for salvation are irrefutable; believe, repent, confess, and be baptized to remission of sins. He will add you to His church.
